We've Been Listening: January Platform Updates

Since ShopBroker 2.0 launched, we've been listening.

You've sent us messages, shared feedback, and told us what would make things better. We took notes. Then we got to work.

Here's what's new - and why we built it.

Easier Payment Setup (Finally)

This was the big one. We heard you loud and clear: connecting your payment account felt like a roadblock.

So we fixed it.

What changed:

• List first, connect later. You no longer need to set up payments before creating a listing. Explore the platform, list your items, and we'll prompt you to connect when someone's ready to buy.
• Fewer questions. We now pre-fill more of your information, so Stripe asks you less. The whole process is shorter.
• Bug fixes. Some users were hitting errors during setup. That's been resolved.

Getting paid should feel like a quick task, not a chore. Now it does.

Sign In Your Way: Password Sign-In Is Here

You asked for simpler sign-ins. We delivered.

ShopBroker now uses password-based sign-in, just like you're used to everywhere else. No more waiting for email codes - just enter your password and you're in.

Here's how it works:

1. Create a password during registration (at least 8 characters)
2. Sign in anytime with your email and password
3. Forgot your password? Request a reset link via email

It's fast, familiar, and secure. Plus, you can add two-factor authentication (2FA) for extra protection if you want it.

Meet Flex+: More Ways to Get Your Items

You asked for more delivery options. We added a third.

Here's how our delivery options work:

• Standard - Same-day delivery. Get it fast.
• Flex - Next-day delivery at a lower fee. Save a few bucks.
• Flex+ - Next-day delivery with guaranteed timing. Know exactly when to expect it.

Standard is great when you want something quickly. Flex saves you money if you can wait until tomorrow. Flex+ gives you the best of both - next-day delivery with tighter timing guarantees.

The best part? Our system automatically compares all three options and shows you the lowest rate. You pick the speed that works for you.

Your BrokerBucks, Explained

Ever wondered how you earned those BrokerBucks? Now there's a transaction history that shows exactly where they came from and where they went.

What you'll see:

• How you earned each credit (sale, referral, Community Stars prize)
• When you earned it
• How your balance changed over time
• Where BrokerBucks were applied to reduce fees

No more guessing. Every BrokerBuck has a story, and now you can read it.

Community Stars Gets Better

Speaking of Community Stars, we've refreshed the experience.

The leaderboard now shows your standing in your local market, not across all of Canada. That means you're competing with sellers in your city - making it more achievable to climb the ranks.

What's new:

• Cleaner interface for tracking your stars
• Monthly progress at a glance
• Market-specific rankings
• BrokerBucks prizes for top 3 each month

Every sale, purchase, and review earns you stars. Every star moves you closer to the top. It's a fun way to stay engaged while earning real rewards.

Price Genius Learns From You

Our AI pricing assistant just got smarter - with your help.

When Price Genius suggests a price, you can now give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. Tell us if the suggestion was helpful, and why. Every bit of feedback makes the AI better at understanding what works for local markets.

Think of it as a conversation. Price Genius makes a suggestion, you share your thoughts, and next time the suggestions get a little bit better. Over time, that adds up to smarter pricing for everyone.
